Clemmons Mom Wins Big in Powerball and Eagered to Share This News with her Family

A North Carolina mom won $100,000 playing the Powerball lottery, and couldn’t wait to share the good news with her family in person. Stephanie Coulter, a resident of Clemmons, matched all but one number in the March 23rd drawing.

She told N.C. Education Lottery officials in a recent news release “I was in disbelief,”. Determined to share the news with her loved ones, she decided face-to-face sharing rather than a phone call. “I was waiting for them when they walked in the door,” she shared, hinting at the joyous surprise that awaited her family upon their return home.Powerball

Coulter purchased her Powerball winning ticket from Lowes Foods in nearby Winston-Salem. About the store grocery store, she said “That’s the grocery store we go to every week.” She added, “You always hear about people winning in random places, but I didn’t expect it to be there,”
